Properties: white crystalline powder or white irregular particle. Boiling point 400℃(vacuum), melting point 36℃, relative density (H2O:1): 1.07, stable in the air. Soluble in water, liquid ammonia, and amine, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran, insoluble in diethyl ether, benzene.
Uses: as reducing agent for aldehyde, ketone and acyl chloride. It can also be used in pharmacy, and in the synthesis of organic chemicals and fine chemicals.
Packing: Three-layer package, internal package is kraft paper lined with polyethylene plastic film bag, external package is sealed iron drum.
