Properties: white loose powder or crystal. Relative density (H2O:1): 1.178, stable in the air. Soluble in water and liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in methyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol, poorly soluble in diethyl ether, benzene, tetrahydrofuran, methyl ether.
Uses: as reducing agent for aldehyde, ketone and acyl chloride, or as reducing agent for analytical chemistry, pesticide, papermaking industry and other fine chemical products.
Packing: Three-layer package, internal package is kraft paper lined with polyethylene plastic film bag, external package is sealed iron drum.
